Continuous Improvement and Risk Management is Tulgeen Disability Services' foundation for achieving best practice. Managers, staff, clients and employees continually contribute to the improvement of service delivery, internal systems and partnerships.
Tulgeen's Client Services and Business Services continue to achieve Quality Assurance Accreditation meeting the Federal and State Governments' Disability Service Standard's Key Performance Indicators. Our next Business Service external audit is in September 2009.
The primary focus of Tulgeen Disability Services' continuous improvement, quality assurance and risk management processes is consultation. As well as encouraging day-to-day input into service delivery, formal consultation is achieved through regular Service Management meetings; advisory group meetings; a yearly Service Delivery Review; an Annual Service Review reporting to the Executive Officer and Board of Directors; Strategic Planning; and feedback from clients and employees during training in both State and Federal Government Disability Service Standards.
The purpose of consultation is to constantly improve service delivery and continually improve organisational systems and processes. To achive this purpose there is ongoing training of staff in quality systems delivery in accordance to the Disability Service Standards and relevant funding agreemets.
