Eligibility
General Eligibility Criteria
The applicant has a disability as defined by the Disability Services Acts 1986 and 1993
Service Provision Criteria is:
priority of need;
availability of funding (Governmental or private);
staffing; and
physical space
Employee Specific Criteria Potential employees must:
- Be willing to participate in an interview with the Service Entry Panel . Agree to a work trial on a mutually agreed trial wage.
- Be willing to participate in a Wage Assessment, Work Plan development and on-the-job training.
- Demonstrate a keenness to work within the relevant workplace and agreement to comply with workplace policy and procedures.
- Be aged over 16 years.
- Have the ability to get to and from work without assistance from the workplace
Where there are more applicants than vacancies the following Criteria shall be used:
- Can the needs of the individual be met by Tulgeen Group within current resources?
- Can the needs of the individual be met equally or better by another service?
All unsuccessful applicants will be provided with a list of alternative employment agencies, and where appropriate, given a referral to alternative service provision.
